Free PlayStation Plus Games for December 2024
Sony has announced the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for December 2024. Any user with an Essential, Extra, or Premium plan can add these games to their library at no additional cost from December 3 to January 6. As usual, the selection includes three titles that can be claimed on PS4 and PS5, although one is exclusive to the next-generation console.
Available Games:
- Temtem (PS5): This popular Spanish "monster taming" title offers an experience similar to a "Pokémon MMO," although it no longer receives updates or includes microtransactions. Its strategic depth and polished gameplay remain highlights.
- Aliens: Dark Descent (PS4, PS5): A real-time tactical action game based on the famous science fiction saga. Its tension and replayability make it a unique experience for fans of the genre.
- It Takes Two (PS4, PS5): This award-winning cooperative adventure combines fun, originality, and a heartfelt narrative, perfect for enjoying with a partner or friend.

Sony is also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand with special events, including multiplayer tournaments, the chance to claim 30 months of PS Plus Premium, and discounts on Sony Pictures Core movies. Additionally, there will be a free online gaming weekend from December 6 to December 8.
Meanwhile, the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog gets a major update on December 10, adding three highly anticipated classics: Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Subscribers will also get early access to the much-awaited Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 starting December 3.
